Day 01:Srinagar Airport—Srinagar

The distance from Srinagar airport to the city center of Srinagar is approximately 12 kilometers (about 7.5 miles) 

Arrival and Local Sightseeing

• Dal Lake: Start with a shikara ride on Dal Lake, visiting floating gardens and experiencing the local way of life on houseboats.
• Shankaracharya Temple: Visit this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on Shankaracharya Hill offering panoramic views of Srinagar.
• Mughal Gardens: Explore renowned gardens like Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, known for their Mughal architecture, terraced lawns, and beautiful fountains. Over night stay at Srinagar hotel

Day 2:Srinagar to pahalgam

            Srinagar to Pahalgam

• Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam: Start your journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam, which is approximately 90 kilometers away and takes about 2.5 to 3 hours by road.
• Betaab Valley: Visit Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie “Betaab” which was filmed here. Enjoy the serene surroundings and take leisurely walks.
• Aru Valley: Proceed to Aru Valley, known for its scenic meadows and trekking routes. Explore the natural beauty and maybe take a short trek if time permits.
• Lidder River: Relax by the Lidder River, which flows through Pahalgam, offering picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Day 2/3: Pahalgam Exploration

• Chandanwari: Drive to Chandanwari, the starting point for the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage during summer months. Enjoy the scenic beauty and the refreshing mountain air.

• Check-in and Relax: Upon arrival in Gulmarg, check into your hotel and relax for a while.
• Gulmarg Golf Course: Visit the Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest golf courses in the world, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
